USC DUPSA Hiring Two Assistant Professors
USC’s Department of Urban Planning and Spatial Analysis is hiring two tenure-track assistant professors, one in transportation planning and one in environmental planning.
We’re looking at these fields broadly. But, for the transportation job, we particularly encourage applicants whose work uses a modern spatial analytics toolkit. And for the environmental job, we particularly encourage applicants whose work intersects with design and the built environment. Overall we seek creative scholars asking innovative new questions and working/thinking interdisciplinarily to address problems facing cities on a global stage.
I am the department chair and Marlon Boarnet is the search chair. We’re available for questions. Come work with us in the living urban laboratory of sunny, weird, wonderful Los Angeles!
